Week 16 – Lucky #7

In reading Haanel’s Master Key Week 16 (1+6=7) I found it fascinating to learn about the 7 seven-year periods which take us into a new cycle.  In considering this number, it seems there are many things which resonate with this “lucky” number:

and even more if you are interested

I took time this evening to consider how my life has transpired thus far in line with the periods Haanel references:

Infancy (1-7) – don’t remember too much before 4, but had some good times up to 7 – wrote up a set of contracts promised to marry Tony Masica when we got older – still have the rock he gave me, it’s in the back garden

Childhood (8-14) a period of individual responsibility – I kept bringing home stray dogs even though I knew I would not be able to keep them – kept trying though (just in case)

Adolescence (15-21) – came home engaged when I was 15 – got grounded! – AND my parents survived this transition 7 times over (I’m the 7th child!)

Full growth (22-28) – well at least we thought we knew it all during this stage (in hindsight, I believe we were just slightly misinformed or was it just misunderstood?) – got married this time – got my first dog to keep!

Constructive (29-35) a period of acquiring possessions, home family – a lot of changes went on during this time period (thank goodness I survived!) – got un-married – brought the dog with me

Reactions and changes (36-42) – now we’re talking – met Walter, got remarried (not surviving – now thriving!) – had our son (major blessing!)

Reconstruction, adjustment and recuperation (43-49) leading to harmony – significant realignment of my psyche – I’m definitely getting there (literally and figuratively) and am tickled beyond measure to be in this stage – embracing what is being offered – have a new dog!

Haanel notes in his preface to this weeks’ read:
“Those familiar with these cycles will not be disturbed when things seem to go wrong, but can apply the principle outlined in these lessons with the full assurance that a higher law will invariably control all other laws, and that through an understanding and conscious operation of spiritual laws, we can convert every seeming difficulty into a blessing.“

Having gotten to the 7th of the 7 year periods, I am ecstatic to be where I am, here with you all, learning what we are learning, applying all that we are being blessed with in this course and truly understanding that each day is a precious gift – we are meant to live and prosper in Harmony!

Thanks Renee, For some reason I have good recall on things like this. between 7 and lucky 13 – In my family I’m the 7th child and my son is the 13th grandchild. Had not put those 2 things together till now in response to your comment. Thank you for all your wonderful and kind words.

I hadn’t known of all of the sevens… some yes, but not all of those.. it is fascinating! and as you, I am also so grateful to be among so many growing/evolving souls in this Mastermind course! It is good news what we are learning… and to be able to see past the difficulties, knowing there are blessings surrounding them is indeed a gift! Thank you!
